This year we are planning a trip to Chicago on Friday - the day we normally put up the tree. So we are breaking the rule this year and putting up the tree on Wednesday. The girls don't have school so we are going to enjoy each and every day by doing something fun! The new rule...no Christmas lights will be lit until AFTER Thanksgiving ;}

YAY!! We are doing ours the weekend after next only because we are heading down to LA for T-day. I think we should do like the Canadians and have T-day in October. That way the holiday lasts longer
