Currently Crushing On ...

Yes ... "crushing." No ... it's not on One Direction, who I am quite tired of hearing about, mostly from my almost-13-year-old daughter. Ugh ... get over it already. I mean ... can't girls nowadays like great bands with real musical value like Bon Jovi or Duran Duran? Those were some good "boy" bands and I'm sure they would die if they realized they were just referred to as that. Ah well. Now, my crushes are on things like food. Livin' the high life, y'all!

You do know that you can crush on food, right?

Simple things like ... pretzel crisps.

Once you try these things, you'll probably develop crushes too. Don't say I didn't warn you.

So ... about those pretzel crisps.
I'm not talking about the plain 'ol crisps, which I do love. I'm talking about the chipotle cheddar pretzel crisps ... which, of course, only one store in my city carries. Well, actually two, but the other store never has any on the shelf where they're supposed to be. So, obviously, I have to buy multiple bags when I do find them.

OK. That was number one. Let's make this official:
#1 - Chipotle Cheddar Pretzel Crisps

Now onto the rest ...

#2 - Nature Valley Peanut Butter Oatmeal Square

DO NOT eat these if you hate awesome.

Oh. My. Word. These are delish! I love how Nature Valley tricks you into thinking you're eating something perfectly healthy by making the word "oatmeal" larger and bolder than the rest of the words. Let me just tell you the truth ... this is an oatmeal peanut butter cookie. Plain and simple. And, they are so yummy! I may have eaten 3-4 in one day. This is why I have to limit my purchases of these little boogers.

#3 Nabisco Rice Thins

Y'all ... I don't eat gluten free and all that jazz, but these are good! They have brown rice ones too, but, of course, the white rice ones taste better. I could easily substitute these as my regular crackers (just not my chipotle cheddar pretzel crisps).

#4 - Muller Yogurt with Caramelized Almonds

This is my MOST favorite yogurt right now. I like to dump this into a bowl and then add berries. Holy. Moly. Those caramelized almonds are good! Now ... the calories are a little more than your typical yogurt because of the almonds ... 220 for one cup, but oh so worth it.

#5 Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

No. Words.

Just try it and you'll understand.

I'm glad I was able to do be of service for you. I will continue to keep you posted on all my current food crushes as they come about.
