A CAPITAL OFFENSE

Me: "Did you read that email from _____ the other day?"

Beau: "I don't read any emails that are written in all caps."

(Really? Interesting standard.)

Me: "Don't you write in all caps?"

Beau: (smirking the smirk he smirks when he knows I've got him)

Me: "Don't you think that's a little hypocritical since you write in all caps? You do write in all caps, don't you?" (He does. He prints, using only capital letters.)

Beau: "I don't write in all caps. My capital letters are bigger than my other letters."

Me: "Capital letters don't refer to size. The small capitals are still capitals." (Example: APPLE)

Beau: (nothing)

Me: "I believe you just got served."

Beau: "You're stupid."

hahahaaaaahaha! That is so funny!

I don't like all caps either (when it's typed). Handwritten doesn't bother me though. I actually like it handwritten. I knew a guy who wrote that way and his As looked like triangles. Very cool.

You're so funny! I like your title and picture, BTW.

(And that's BTW as in acronyms, not yelling. lol)

My husband types in all caps and I keep telling him people find it offensive and it's bad manners, but he doesn't think I know what I'm talking about.

Hmm, I never thought of all caps in typing being like shouting at someone, thank goodness the computer knows manners, but I do have to admit, (I also had to admit this to my kids teachers)
We all print in capital letters just like your husband. I find it helps make my printing neater, other wise it becomes a cross between cursive (spelling?) and printing. I can't do lowercase, it's like writing baby letters. Or talking baby talk...:)

My husband and my dad both write in all caps. It's a strange man thing I will never understand.

This totally made me giggle.

Have you seen where the gov't is going to require states to change all the road signs from all caps.
"Stop" doesn't have the same effect as "STOP".
