The Way It Should Be

(Out of the Blue)

La Petite Belle: "Mommy, even if you weren't a Christian, I would still love you."

Me: "Well, I'm glad."

La Petite Belle: " But, it would be a horrible thing if you were not a Christian."

Me: "Yes, it would."

Funny how God speaks through our children.

How much do we really, truly love those unlike ourselves?

How much do we love those that are anti-Christian? Or hate Christians?

How much do we see ourselves as better than them?

Hard stuff and I'm guilty.

Hmmm...deep thoughts. Definitely guilty here, too. I'm thinking how different I am from Obama...just to tie into yesterday's post. Yep...guilty.

I'm guilty too. Pride is the worst.

Wow! You're making me feel very liberal this week Mama Belle!

That was sweet! But life is sad I think without knowing there is something beyond this life.

But it doesn't make a person bad for believing different
