My Reputation is Tarnished.

Last night, Beau went to pick up La Petite Belle from dance. On the way home, they passed by some young men smoking.

La Petite Belle: Daddy, did you ever smoke a cigarette?

Beau: Yes

La Petite Belle: (appalled) What?!?

Beau: Baby, I don't smoke, but I have tried it.

La Petite Belle: Did Mommy ever smoke a cigarette?

Beau: Yes

La Petite Belle: Great, I live with a bunch of smokers.

This bit of information combined with the whole drinking thing is tarnishing my good mother reputation.

same thing happened here, and now that they are teenagers, it's even worse for them to ask questions! i hate the look of suprise when they find out i did "whatever" it was...makes me feel really bad.

Just wait until she hears you "flashed" for beads - just kidding - I know you would never do that.

I have a feeling she still loves you, MB. :-)

I've never tried smoking before and never plan on it....I'm going to look pretty good in our children's eyes next to their pastor/dad who has! :-) Ha!

I'm thinking you need to have the "you don't have to tell everything you know" conversation with Beau :}

This brings to mind that song...
"How low can you go? How low can you go?"
