I've waited 37 years to see something like this.

Finally. (So much for my anonymity, but I have posted about this issue before.)

I was the kid that went to AstroWorld (Houston's Six Flags that doesn't exist anymore) that could find no souvenir with her name on it.

I scoured every gift shop in the country and was never able to take anything home with my name on it.

No necklace.

No key ring.

No pencils.

No mug.

And, definitely no shot glass (of course that would have been inappropriate).

I told Beau I was going to order this just because it was such a thrill to flip the page and not see "Katie" or "Stacey" or "Amanda" or "Emily" monogrammed on an item.

BRAVO, Lillian Vernon, BRAVO!

On another note of randomness: Just checked my live traffic feed and noticed someone came to my site via googling "do your boobs hand low" ... no, not HANG low ... "hand low." First, get your words right. Second, how dare you ... I am a young vibrant woman and have no idea what middle-aged nonsense you are talking about (wink).

I am right there with you, on the name thing and the boobs! Brianne was never printed on anything but it is slowly gaining popularity!

Well you're one up on me. I still have never seen my name on anything, except once many years ago when it was in the newspaper about a family throwing a birthday party for their dog with the same name as me. :-/

lol...the things people google!

Glad you found something with your name on it.

I feel your pain. I would always find things with "Tracy", "Traci", "Tracey"...

Never ever with "Tracie".

BOOOO!

If I were you, I'd order it.

I feel your pain, Mama Belle! I have never seen my name on the list either, and my children have the same problem:(

Yay for you!!!!

I love browsing through Lillian Vernon.

I still look for my name on things...ornaments, pencils, keychains, etc...and usually find it. Why is that such a thrill?!

Bwahahahaha! Love the boobs comment!

I'm going to start googling random boob phrases and see if they bring me to your site! :P

The bright side of never having your name printed on stuff would be that at least when people call your name, you know they're talking to YOU. Unlike most Amy's or Jennifer's or Ms. Smith's I know. :-)

As someone with the most common name EVER, I'm jealous of you...I wonder what it's like to not have 5 friends with the same name. Seriously, in tiny church, there are 4 of us...FOUR.

I think Daphne is a wonderful name ;)

One of my daughters' names is Lydia. Believe it or not, you can never ever ever find Lydia printed on those things either, and she gets sad about it. I always tell her I can relate as an Elisabeth (not Elizabeth). Glad you found Lilian Vernon.

I know my name can be shortened and it was usually that version on things to purchase as a souvenir.
But now that I am older, way older, I am finding stuff with my complete name and I so want to buy it all!!!

We can find just about anything for our son, Nicholas our daughter one the other hand is Nina. ANd that is NEENA not Nine-a. Oh, that drives me crazy, the older gen always calls her Nine-a when they see her name. NO peeps it's Neena.
Anyhoo,
Isn't it crazy the things you can do with google?

I know you were MOST disappointed about the shot glasses.... you know, 'cause I know ALL about you being "a drinker". :)

I am so happy for you!! I, too, was one of those sad little children who could never find her name on a burnished leather belt at the Pigeon Forge gift shops!! I feel your pain!
Now, it's so thrilling to go into craft stores in the fall and see "Happy Autumn!" or "Welcome Autumn!" on everything! Too bad I can't leave them up year-round!

So glad you finally got something with your name on it...my daughter has the same problem. Maybe I should have thought about that before I named her Kasey with a 'K', cause you can always find it with a C....and I thought I was being so clever spelling it with a 'K' too! Some of my fondest memories were at Astroworld when I was a kid!

Always Patricia's & Patty's in my case, never a Patrice! I so feel your pain!

Too funny on what people google!!

Can you remind me why I suddenly want to sing "Do Your Ears Hang Low"

My issue as a kid was blue. Kids that like red or orange or purple were cool with candy and suckers and such. But this was PRE blue candy. I could get purple because it was CLOSE to blue... but not blue. I remember when Kmart started carrying blue icees in the snack bar. That was HUGE! And my mother wouldn't let me get them that often because they gave me blue teeth and that irked her.

You know? I just get started sharing and wow.. bless your heart.

Let's see....Donnetta...Yep - I feel your pain!!!

My sisters and I used to sing "Do Your Boobs Hang Low" to my mom. Never made her very happy! :)

CONGRATULATIONS! I am thrilled that your childhood trauma is now being soothed by Lilina Vernon. :)

So stinkin' hilarious about the search phrase. Crack me up.

My kids have this problem too. Gabe, Zane and Maci Clare. WE usually find Jack.

Oh Daphne! For just this reason I decided to never name my child any name that couldn't be found on a key chain! As Bobbi, I could never get my name of anything! Go Daphne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
