Let's Give Her Something to Blog About.

La Petite Belle straightened her hair last night and styled it with the part on the side and everything. She said that I should take pictures and post about it on my blog.

When I told her she had done a very good job on her hair, she said, "That's why I want to be a hair stylist."

I said, "I thought you wanted to be a fashion designer, and a soccer coach, a cupcake maker, and a person who tells others about Jesus." (That's a winning combo if I've ever heard one.)

She said, "Well, everyone keeps taking my thing. Since I said I wanted to be a preacher, everybody wants to be a preacher, so I decided to pick something that nobody else wants to do."

That sounds bad for people who want to be hair stylists, doesn't it?

And ... I've been awarded this wonderful award from Windy at A Peek at Us. Thanks, Windy!

So, whose blog do I love?

I love them all.

So, now what do I do?

I think I'll give it to someone I haven't given an award to and whose blog I've been reading regularly lately ... a new blogging friend ... Straight Shooter. I like her because she tells some great stories and she does what her title says ... she shoots straight, no fluff ... she's real. Go check her out.

Tell you daughter that she obviously has hair-styling talent! I keep trying to straighten my hair, and I always end up looking ridiculous. My head only looks right curly. LOL

Okay, I don't think I've commented on your blog yet, though I've been following you for some time. Your daughter is adorable! Isn't it fun to be able to dream about all you're going to do when you grow up!?

Beautiful Hair Style!!!

Little Miss Belle will probably change her mind a hundred times over before she finds just the right "profession" for her.

Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I'm impressed with the hair styling ability. Could she come and do my hair?!

At one time my son wanted to be a pirate and a missionary. I suggested maybe a missionary to pirates? Your little one did do a great job on her hair. I think she's got a future as a hair stylist. She can always preach while she cuts.

She did an outstanding job. I am so impressed. My girl Crumb Snatcher looks to be about the same age, wants to be a hairdresser too...and honey, my hair does NOT look even remotely close to that doll's hair when she is done with her masterpiece.
Very impressive. Seriously, La Petite, that takes some talent Girly! Fabulous job.
As far as the award Mama Belle...I am blushing and of course beaming. Thank you for the kind words. I am speechless. And that does not happen often.
Serious.
Thank you.

She is so lovely. Fine work with the straightner. I'm not as skilled I'll admit, something always gets burned, forhead, ear, neck or fingers. Ouch. I think she should be whatever she wants, no matter who else wants to be that... She looks like she's be the best at it! Ask her how much she charges for a straighting will you? :)

Her hair looks great! She did an awesome job - it takes my oldest daughter about 45 min to straighten her hair - how long did it take yours?;)

Your welcome for the award - you so deserve it!
