Three Words ...

Sarah Palin Rocks!

I don't usually post about my political views, but just let me have my moment here.

If you didn't see her speech at the Republican National Convention, get the details here.

This was just the beginning ...

She slammed Obama quite a bit. Ouch.

I stay out of the political ring when it comes to blogging. BUT...I have to say...

Girl, she rocked it out. I mean, she was completely hardcore...totally awesome. I so want to be her friend. At one point I looked at my husband and said, "She has balls." (And I mean this with respect and totally not in a degrading way--just so you know.) My husband replied, "I want to marry her."

I'd almost let him--if it meant she'd be my friend. Don't you think she needs to be our friend? Oh, but I am loving her so much.

And thus ends my political blogging tenure.

Lula,

I know. I usually try to not mention politics either, but I'm so excited I just can't help myself.

And, my husband also asked if I would be offended if he listed her as his girlfriend on Facebook.

Same here. I am not a political blogger either. I hope that she and Mr. McCain can pull it off though.

I stumbled across your blog a few days ago, and will have to say I agree with you...Palin Rocks! I usually steer clear of politics and my opinion on who should lead us the next four years, but I will have to break the rules this time!

I am glad your family made it through the storm and the clean up was not so bad. I so relate to the 10 minute pet and enjoyed the good laugh!

Doesn't she ROCK?! I did not know that she was on until my hubs came home and told me to turn it to Fox News to listen to her speech.

She is a firecracker and those boys better watch themselves - she tells it like it is and doesn't beat around the bush - I LOVE THAT!

My two cents, for what it is worth :}

Hugs!

I agree with you and all the others! I was feeling like we weren't going to have a chance here in the US, but then I saw her...and heard her speak last night...she saved McCain's day:)

LOL that Beau wants to list her as his girlfriend. Craziness!!!

I. Love. Her. That's all I have to say about that.

I'm her age, and I want to be her when I grow up. I wonder if I invited her to a Pampered Chef party, if she would come?

Agreed. She's got the chutzpah (or however you spell that, and whatever it means). :-)

Although I think she looks like Wonder Woman.

Amen.
Pass the rolls O-see ya later-bama!
Now let's get down to the nitty-gritty. The debates. I don't remember actually WANTING to see the debates. Looking FORWARD to the debates? Hello? THAT has never been a priority. Until now, Baby. I hope she mops the floor with the arrogant windbag (typed with the most stuffy, serious face I could make).

Straight Shooter ... Am I ready for the debates? Do you even have to ask? I was never so ready. I just wish she was debating Obama and not Biden.

Oh, and I love that they call her barracuda back home. Love it!

It takes some one really amazing to be able to do/say what she did with the sharpness and yet tact in which it was delivered! Wow. Really good stuff! :)
Darn it - I think we all want to list her as our girl on facebook. :)

Love love love Sara! All McCain had to do last night was get up there and say "ditto". She rocked the mic. Exactly what this country needs. I must say that while I know you shouldn't talk politics most every blog I have read in the past few days has nothing but positive things to say about her. Does that speak volumes or what?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose most of my readers now. . I've done 2 political posts since her nomination and have a couple more in my head just begging to get out! I just can't control myself anymore. I'm watching foxnews every day! I think I have a problem!

LOVE, LOVE her. She is a solid believer too, from what I hear from Alaskans. We better get on our knees for this girl!
