Gustav ... what a let-down.

And I'm so glad about that! Thanks for all your prayers. They worked. We have actually left the church and gone home, where we had electricity through the entire storm. We have minimal damage and lots of debris. I will get some pictures in the morning to show you. This storm was much weaker than expected and not as bad as Hurricane Lily or Rita. Major props go to Governor Bobby Jindal and all the other state officials. Way to be prepared.

THANK YOU for letting me know that y'all are groovy after the storm. I really appreciated it.

We were on the road and ran into some heavy rain about 45 min from home (after a 5 1/2 hour drive that was not too bad!).

Hope that the debris clean up goes quickly for you.
