That's Me ... An International Beauty and Bloggy Giveaway.

This is always a fun thing to do when you have absolutely nothing to do, or just don't want to do anything and want to spend your time on pointless things.

I did this and this several months ago and looked like a totally different person. Gillian Anderson and I have no like qualities. Of course, Beau will say that that picture looks nothing like me because of the flip-flopped image. Look here to be the judge on that issue.

MyHeritage: Family tree - Genealogy - Celebrity

But, wait here's the funny thing ... here are the other celebrity look-a-likes they gave me, most of whom I did not know were celebrities.

Kareen Kapoor - Some famous Bollywood actress

Better yet, her "ex," whose last name is also Kapoor ... another Indian actor. How can I look like her and her ex? Hmmmm ... something's telling me that this site is not very accurate.
Then, there's this chick, Ann Kok. She's also an actress I've never heard of. And I look like an Indian and an Asian? I'm feeling like my look must inhabit all kinds of international qualities. True beauty does that, you know.
But, when I came across this guy in my list, I was like ... ummm ... huh? Let me introduce you to my twin, Olusegun Obasanjo, just the former president of Nigeria. So, let's recap here, Indian, Asian, and now, Nigerian in the mix?
But, all hope is not lost, when I came across these two jewels. Let's just say, I WISH!
Vivien Leigh, only one of the most beautiful women in the world, and ...
Carole Lombard, another one.
Now, for what you've been waiting for.
I always participate in this ...
Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

If you want to be an international beauty, as clearly as I am, you need some of this stuff.

Drugstore Beauty at its finest:
1 box of 8 Biore' self-heating masks
1 6 oz. tube Freeman Peel-Off Cucumber mask
1 6 oz. Freeman Avocado & Oatmeal Clay mask

Plus these great eye masks that you can refrigerate to relieve tired and puffy eyes ...
1 Aroma Therapy Eye Mask - Lavender
1 Aroma Therapy Eye Mask - Mint

All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me your beauty secret because I'm always fighting this age thing. I need all the help I can get.

I will randomly pick a winner on Friday, August 1st at 5ish. Please make sure I have a way to contact you.

Make sure you head on over to the giveaway here. I'm number 579. Lots of great stuff being given away. It will take you a few days to go through it. Hope you win!

My beauty secret...use sunscreen every day! It has helped me to look still in my 20's, while I'm quickly approaching the big 4-0 (actually I'll be 38 this year). :) Thanks for the chance to win!

I use witch hazel as an astringent, since it keeps my face clear without stripping, drying or damaging my skin.

Drink lots of water. Simple, but it does make beautiful skin. :)

Sadly, I have learned that you get what you pay for with the anti-wrinkle potions. I don't actually buy the expensive ones, but I do linger in the bathrooms of my older and less-wrinkled friends.

I've been looking for some masks to try out and better to try ones out via a give away then forking out tons of money and it not work :-P

Awesome giveaway.

I have no beauty secrets. But I am desperate to acquire some because oh my word where did these wrinkles come from? So I will be stalking your comments hoping to pick up some really awesome pointers.

Oooh...that morphing thing is fun. And I still think it's HI-larious that Beau doesn't think you look the same when your picture is flipped.

My (well-kept) secret - SMILE a lot!

PS said...

I swear by moisturizer with spf...that really is my only secret, and it is not really a secret!!

Tracie said...

OK. Have you ever noticed that when you leave the beach (an ocean beach...not a lake beach) that your face seems so clear? Well, for me b/c I have worse breakouts now than I did when I was a teenager.

Anyway, believe me, I notice it. So I have been buying sea salt for the bathroom.

Yep, that's right.

Sea Salt!

I don't use it every day, but usually every other. First, I wash my face with a mild cleanser with sea salt added to it. Then, I rinse with warm water than has sea salt dissolved in it.

Then I follow up with a clear water rinse. It sounds like a lot of steps, but it has helped me!!

Thanks for allowing me to enter.
Sorry I wrote a book! *smiles*

My beauty secret is to only allow my picture to be taken when I am fully made up and properly attired. And then going through the photos and deleting all the bad ones.

Several months back I started using Trader Joe's Glycerin wash as a face wash as well, followed by Neutrogena's Sensitive Skin face lotion and my face has been very happy ever since! My oiliness has resided, I hardly ever break out. It's been a very good combination for me. I also use TONS on sunscreen when I go out.

Water Water Water! Great giveaway!

kagey10 said...

i have a great tip. well here is an easy one first, if you know you are going to be in the sun for more then an hr, where a hat or visor, sunscreen won't help you.
#2. Do a facial scrub. then do a Enzymme mask. Alba has one at the drugstores and so does freemans, it is pineapple and it helps get the dead surface cells off but when you combine it with a good scrub it really penetrates deep. it will give you radiant skin!

Annabelle said...

My beauty secret is being sure I apply my lotion daily (especially in the winter when skin gets dry) to keep my skin soft!

Jenny said...

I think exfoliation is key. Whether you use something natural (brown sugar and honey scrub) or something really expensive (microdermabrasion) you get a similar result, which is smoother skin!

Oh, so fun!
My beauty secret is (and this is so super gross I don't know if I can really type it out). But I had heard it works for months and months and I finally tried it and it does. But it still grosses me out. Seriously.

Okay, breastmilk on a pimple and it will be GONE the next day. Like seriously not there at all. It's weird and gross and I'm sorry that I actually typed it!

Qtpies7 said...

All right, I will spill the beans on my beauty secrets, but you have to keep it hush-hush!

Never, NEVER go camping, then you won't have sun damage to your skin or mosquito bite scars. Better yet, don't go outside. Hang out in the A/C away from the sun, weather, and bugs, and enjoy a nice iced drink and some cheese cake! That way you'll keep your figure well padded and nothing will happen to damage it. Trust me, I have an amazing body, and I keep it well padded!

I'm not sure that I have any beauty secrets. I mean, I swear by coconut oil for my face. Does that count?

Just because they sound fun and girly.
That's the only reason.
