Georgia On My Mind and Blogging Withdrawal

I am having major blogging withdrawal. This is the first day that I have been able to have access to wireless internet. Hello, people ... get with it! It is the year 2008 and every place you stay should have wireless internet. I don't care if you're in the mountains of Tennessee or the Canary Islands or Antarctica ...We need wireless internet! Now, I will begin to tell you about this week. It has been an adventure to say the least. The drive itself was exhausting. We broke it up into two days. Let's start at the very beginning ... it's a very good place to start.

The first leg of our trip involved good ole' Georgia. We stayed with some of our good friends, Jason and Amanda, near Atlanta for a couple of days. We had a great time with them and wished we could have visited longer.
Here they are
Our girls with Jaylyn, their oldest.
Their cute little baby, Abby
Beau and K Belle split a full rack of ribs at a yummy barbecue place.
While they feasted on these juicy ribs,
I waited in hunger and sadness for my grilled chicken salad.
And believe me, it was worth the wait - Delicious!
We then went to a really cool place called Noah's Ark that was a haven for injured or old animals. It was nice and FREE!
Most of the animals were behind fences,
others you could walk right up to, if you really wanted to. They had the most enormous pigs I've ever seen, also llamas, and
deer. The girls just walked up and petted this deer.
Then, I requested that Amanda make her famous egg rolls for dinner.
YUMM-O!
And because we were famished from the long day of walking, eating, and shopping (Wait til you see the cute dress I got - Amanda and I went to the outlet while the boys watched the four girls. Hee! Hee!), we rented a movie and had more snacks after the kids went to bed.
Perfect Day!
