Day Six, Seven, Eight, & Nine - Jamestown, Shopping, & Driving

This was one of my favorite places. The cost was cheap, the people that were dressed up in period clothing were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the girls learned a lot! It was very interactive and fun!

Although La Petite Belle kept wondering where Pocahontas was because the girl that was dressed as her was definitely not her. Seriously, when I saw the painting of Pocahontas compared to the Disney Pocahontas ... MAJOR DIFFERENCE! Look ...
Painting that was the most like her that she had done when she went to England ... Hello! Beau said that she looks a lot like La Toya Jackson.
Indian Village - girls mashing corn into corn meal.
Picking bugs off of tobacco plants
Helping to carve out canoe
Dressed in the armor of the day
Ship we got to go on ... very cool.
Best meal we ate as we were there - Old Chickahominy House. I had Brunswick stew with biscuits (I've never seen flat biscuits before) with ham.
K Belle's yummy chicken salad
La Petite Belle eating chicken soup and biscuits
OOPS! We had a sampling of pies - Delicious!
Day 7: All I did was shop without my family at the outlet mall. Nice and peaceful. Beau took the girls to the arcade.

Day 8 & 9: Lots and lots of driving! Thank God we're home safely because I don't know about what you think, but people cannot drive. You use the left lane for passing. Don't just park yourself there and go slower than the people in the right lane. And get off my bumper! I'm going as fast as I can. People follow way too close.
