A Young Girl's Dream

Guess what? We ended up going to the Jonas Brothers concert after all (previous post of why we weren't going here) thanks to my friend Kari who I get to sing with (check her out here). She knows their parents from when she was at Christ For the Nations. Anyway she got us free tickets and meet & greet passes. Thanks Kari! So here we (Katie's friend, Reagan got to come too) are before the concert taking in our 60 seconds with them. Kylie actually cried after we walked out of the door. I asked her why she was crying and she said she was just so happy. She said she was never washing her hand again because they touched her. (Don't worry I made her wash her hand today.)
The concert was pretty good. I never heard so many loud, screaming girls before. You'd swear they were the Beatles. My ears were ringing even when I went to bed last night.
Kylie and Kari's daughter, Lydia
Katie and Reagan had to stand on their chairs to see. We were pretty close to the front, but they couldn't see over all the heads in front. It didn't seem to bother them. Here they are dancing on their chairs.

It was a very late night. The girls didn't get to bed until 11:00 p.m. on a school night. Am I a cool mom or what? They will never forget this night.

Isn't it funny about Vance? Kari and I were laughing at him at the concert. He was so not wanting to be there, but he did it anyway. Good for him!
